NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING FLORIDA KEYS AQUEDUCT AUTHORITY Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority 1100 Kennedy Drive Key West, Florida 33040 TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2026 NOTICE TO PUBLIC OF CLOSED ATTORNEY/ CLIENT SESSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, the Board of the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority, will hold an attorney/client session to discuss settlement negotiations and/or strategy related to litigation pertaining to KENNEDY CENTER CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION, INC. v. FLORIDA KEYS AQUEDUCT AUTHORITY, Case No., 2025-CA-448-K, now pending in the Civil Division for the Sixteenth Circuit, Monroe County, Florida. The session will be held on Tuesday September 1, 2026, immediately following the regular meeting or close thereafter to 12:00 p.m., in the Boardroom of the FKAA, located at 1100 Kennedy Drive, First Floor, Key West, Florida. The attending parties shall be all members of the Board of Directors of FKAA, including Chairman Richard J. Toppino, Vice- Chairman J. Robert Dean, Secretary Nicholas W. Mulick, Board Member Luis Gonzales, Board Member Erica H. Hughes, Executive Director Gregory W. Veliz, General Counsel Shawn D. Smith, Assistant General Counsel Nathalia M. Archer, and a court reporter. The attorney/client session is closed to the public. The entire session shall be recorded by a certified court reporter, and the transcript shall be filed with the Clerk for the Board. Said transcript shall remain sealed until the case has concluded.
